Supply Line Direct Introduces Expanded Product Lines, Catalog And Web Site For 2009
Irving, TX - More than 900 new products were introduced by Supply Line Direct in an expanded 212-page catalog and e-commerce site, both released January 1. Supply Line Direct is the safety equipment and maintenance supply division of NCH Corporation, based in Irving.
Supply Line Direct was launched in the first quarter of 2008 as a new brand and expanded business unit of NCH. Significant sales growth of safety equipment, spill response and secondary containment products in particular, spurred introduction of additional product lines in the 2009 catalog and Web site at www.SupplyLineDirect.com.
Expansion of the safety equipment section includes safety glasses from Radians, DEWALT and Harley-Davidson. Also in the section are new fall protection harnesses, lanyards and confined space equipment from Miller Fall Protection and MSA. The complete line of OK-1 protective clothing was introduced in the catalog and on the Web site. The OK-1 line includes safety vests, rainwear, bomber jackets, ergonomic products and gloves.
New safety gloves featured are electrical safety gloves, disposable black nitrile gloves and selected mechanics' gloves from Mechanix Wear. Professional-grade flashlights are featured for the first time in the safety equipment line as well. Flashlights from DEWALT and Pelican and Bright Star's Lighthawk Max fire lanterns are now available from Supply Line Direct.
Supply Line Direct's new Direct Value line of value-priced safety equipment was introduced in the recent product release. Direct Value products are popular styles and sizes of frequently used personal protection products--safety glasses, hard hats, gloves, ear plugs, rainsuits, dust masks and safety vests. Value pricing is the focus of Direct Value products.
New spill response products include specialty spill kits for battery acid and mercury, a HazMat transport kit and several new cellulose-based pads and loose sorbents made from recycled materials. Several new stormwater protection products are now in the spill response product line as well.
The new nestable spill pallet from UltraTech is showcased in the secondary containment section of the catalog. The four-drum spill pallets conserve space for shipping and storage by form fitting inside one another when stacked. Several choices of flexible containment berms, designed for rapid deployment under tanks or vehicles, are now part of the secondary containment lineup.
Featured on the back cover of the 2009 catalog is the new American Red Cross first aid cabinet. The first aid kit is a 209-piece general workplace first aid cabinet designed for offices and worksites. Other kits, first aid supplies and unit-packed OTC medications are featured in the safety equipment section.
The Supply Line Direct e-commerce site, launched a year ago, includes all catalog products, plus additional products in each of the six product groups: spill response, secondary containment, safety equipment, safety signs, maintenance, and storage and organization. A Technical Information feature of the Web site contains a library of helpful articles, glossaries and guides that cover products and topics related to Supply Line Direct product lines.
The 2009 Supply Line Direct catalog is distributed to customers by territory sales representatives in the Chemsearch, Certified Laboratories and Mantek divisions of NCH Corporation's North American Chemical group. Catalogs can also be requested on the Supply Line Direct Web site.
